Sun N’ Fun is one of the largest aviation shows to take place in America. It features every conceivable aircraft you can think about and then some more. This year was my first time going to Sun N’ Fun and it’s an almost overwhelming event for pilots and aviation geeks. Below are some of the photos I managed to capture during my 2 days there.
Winter in Korea gets cold…very cold. This year was no exception and not only did it get cold, but it broke records on just how cold and how snowy it was. As much as I like a nice little cold weather, dealing with low’s of 0 and below in Fahrenheit, and sliding around and hoping not to fall on black ice is not really my cup of tea and seeing as how I was craving food other than Korean dishes, I planned my escape to go to mainly warmer places. A few days in San Francisco, 2 weeks in sunny Florida, and a few days in New York City.
Seouls architecture ranges from the ultra modern to centuries old. It’s a city forged through hardship from constant invaders, famines, wars, and until a few decades ago, dictators. It’s a city that’s gone from a place where no one really knew about to one of the technology and cultural hubs of the world exporting cutting edge architecture, the latest in technology, and pop sensations that are starting to sweep the world like ‘PSY’ and his hit ‘Gangnam Style’
Below are selected images that show this duality of new and old.
